Yesterday, I ran to the bank, and came right back, I was gone a whole 15-20 minutes max, in that time she put her paws up on the kitchen counter and got a plastic salad fork that I had just washed and put there to dry, anyway she got it and luckily she did not chew on it, I found it laying on the floor. Well then I looked in the sink, and sure enough she had gotten another lid to my Freshvac set of containers. I went to the patio door and looked outside and, there laying in the gravel was my lid. I walked outside, in the rain, and picked it up, to my surprise she did not eat the silicone out of the lid. However she did break off a little piece of the plastic, but I think it will still work. I think because it was laying that side down and, she could not turn it over to get at the silicone, which amazes me, as she has always gotten them before no matter how they have been laying on the ground.
I have called the Freshvac Company regarding my issues with the silicone seals for my lids. They are sending me everything I need at no charge. Another company that stands behind their product. I told them how I lost the silicone seals and the lady that was helping me laughed and laughed, she had never heard of a dog eating the silicone seals before. I told her I had gone thru four of the silicone basting brushes, and all the phone covers just to name a few, then she really starting laughing. Thank you Freshvac.
